In charge of the work for education, education supervision, culture, cultural relics, tourism, radio and television, health, disease prevention and control, traditional Chinese medicine management, medical security, sports, social science and local chronicles.

In charge of the Taizhou Education Bureau, as well as the Taizhou Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau (Taizhou Municipal Administration of Cultural Heritage), the Taizhou Health Commission (Taizhou Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Taizhou Disease Prevention and Control Bureau), the Taizhou Sports Bureau and the Taizhou Municipal Medical Security Bureau.

Acting as a liaison with the Taizhou Municipal Press and Publication Bureau (Taizhou Municipal Copyright Administration), Taizhou Municipal Federation of Social Science Circles, Taizhou Municipal Federation of Literature and Art Circles, the Taizhou Municipal Red Cross Society, Taizhou Office for the Party's History and Local Chronicles, radio, television and network companies, as well as colleges and universities.
